Delicious food over all, the guac could be better theres lots of tomatoes in it. The waiters didn’t check in very often, but they were very kind.

Do not order the Pollo Cazadores. I was anxious to try this meal. I have never seen such a thin piece of chicken! Everything was floating in various sauces. It was a hot mess.

My wife and I ate here for the first time and were excited by the other reviews we had read. The establishment is clean and nicely decorated and the service was quick and friendly. The salsa here tastes more like Italian marinara than it does salsa. The menu is pretty extensive, my wife chose the Mole Rojo and I had the Burrito Marijo. The Mole did not really have the flavor you would expect from a Mole, it wasn’t bad but it tasted almost like an Italian red sauce. The burrito was good but nothing to rave about. Overall it was a pleasant experience but there was nothing that really made Catrinas really stand out from any of the other establishments here in Newton other than it is new.

We went to Catrina’s on opening night and LOVED it. Their fajitas “for two” were more than enough for one meal (we each had enough for lunch the next day) and their drink selection is fun and exciting! There are all sorts of margaritas to try, and they also have specialty drinks on top of this. Would recommend for anyone in the Newton area.

Excellent service. Clean restrooms and restaurant seems pretty clean overall. Good came out fast and hot. Portions seem large. Flavor is typical tex-mex. Don't expect that authentic flavorful food.

Outstanding service. Very fast kitchen. The decor is beautiful. Great food and cold beer!! The menu is huge, something for everyone! And there’s a salsa bar with various salsas and other goodies like limes, beans and grilled chiles!
